He stepped out in his Political career in the year of 1992 when he was elected for the presidency of the Student Union at JNVU University, surpassing previous Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad supporters. Gajendra Singh was also elected as the National General Secretary of the BJP Kisan Morcha and the farmer’s wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
