A famous Urdu language poet and Indian Politician, Imran Pratapgarhi, serving as a member of parliament in the Rajya Sabha the upper house of the Indian parliament, was born on 6 August 1987 in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. His real name is  Mohammed Imran Khan. He belongs to the family of Mohammed Iliyas Khan, his father, and Sajida Khan, his mother. He attended school in Pratapgarh and completed his master’s in Hindi literature at Allahabad University. Mohammed Imran also has a diploma in journalism from Allahabad University. He is a poet profession by the poet. At the time of Master’s Degree, he writes poems in Hindi & Urdu.

In 2008, he participated in Mushaira and his Nazm Madrasa became popular. Apart from Madarsa, his other writings include Filisteen, Najeeb, and Umar out of over 100 Nazms written by him. Imran Pratapgarhi criticized Prime Minister Modi and joined the Indian National Congress in 2019. He contested the 2019 Lok Sabha General Election from Muradabad. Unfortunately, he lost to S. T.
