Famous Actress of Bengali Cinema & young Politician Sayani Ghosh or Saayoni Ghosh was born in a middle-class family in Kolkata City of West Bengal State. She was one of the talented students in his family who completed her schooling in Kolkata and joined an acting and singing school. Saayoni first appeared in the Bangla Movie Notobor Notout in her early career as an actress. In between her acting career, she came into contact with State politician and head of Trinamool Congress Party Mamata Banerjee after her anti-Hindu comments. This incident made him popular in social media, especially in West Bengal state.
Her contact with Mamata Banerjee attracted her to politics and soon she was introduced as the candidate for the Lok Sabha general election 2024. Sayani Gosh contested from the Jadhavppur constituency against Anirban Ganguli and won the contest by a margin of more than 2.5 Lakh votes. She joined the Bengali movie Industry in 2010 at the age of 17 years with a short role in a Comedy Drama Movie. She worked with many Bangla as an actress and Singer. Saayoni Ghosh was the host of the famous Calcutta Football League in 2013-14. She became a member of the Trinamool Congress party and served as the president of the Youth Wing of the Trinamool Congress party in 2021.

Sayani Ghosh was accused of the connection with the West Bengal School Service Commission scam. She was questioned by enforce department for almost 11 hours in 2023. However, ED was unable to find any concrete proof of her connection to the scam.
