Aditya Thackeray or Aditya Rashmi Uddhav Thackeray, young writer, lyricist, and politician was born in Mumbai in 1990 in the political family of Bala Saheb Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray. He finished his schooling and joined St Xavier College for higher education. After completing his graduation he enrolled for his LLB degree from Kishinchand Chellaram Low College of Mumbai. He completed his LLB degree in 2013. Aditya is the elder of two siblings of Uddhav Thackeray and Rashmi Thackeray families.

After education, young Aditya started writing books, and his first book of poems was published by Westland Publisher New Delhi in 2007 at the young age of 17 years. His book was not listed in the bestseller list of 2009. He again launched an album of his eight songs which was written by himself. He entered politics with his father as a campaigner of the Shiv Sena in BMC elections. Aditya grabbed the attention of the Maratha voters and contested in the state assembly election 2018

Marathi people claim that this book is insulting to the Marathi community. Aditya served as the cabinet Ministry of Tourism and Environment. He also initiated a protest against single-use plastic in Maharastra State, finally, single-use plastic was banned by the Devendra Fadnavis government. Aditya Thackeray became the first winning member of his family who contested in the direct assembly election of the Maharashtra Assembly. He was the cabinet minister while his father Uddav Thackeray was serving as the Chief Minister of the Maharashtra Government 2019 (Maha Vikas Aghadi).
