Bandi officially entered in political career when he was elected as the municipal corporator for Karimnagar’s 48th division in 2005. But after some unsuccessful attempts in politics, he made a comeback in the 2019 Indian general election. In this election, he was scoped by the BJP from the Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency.
