The Political Journey of Harsimrat Kaur Badal started in the year of 2009 when she contested the Indian general election. For the first time, she won the seat from Bathinda constituency as 15th Lok Sabha. She was highlighted in her Public appearance when she gave her first speech on 3 December 2009. In this speech, Harsimrat Kaur Badal has shown her deep concern for the victims and survivors of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. In the year of 2014, she was re-elected as an MP from Bathinda by the defeated Indian National Congress-People’s Party of Punjab joint candidate, Manpreet Singh Badal.
