Jagdambika Pal is a well-known personality in Indian politics and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In his political journey, he also served as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for 1 day in 1998. Jagdambika is currently a member of the Lok Sabha since 2009. He served as an Indian National Congress representative in the 15th Lok Sabha till his resignation on March 7, 2014. In 2014, he re-entered the Lok Sabha and joined the BJP. His father Surya Bux Pal raised him as a good child and motivated him to study and good life. During their academic studies, he was interested in Indian law and decided to pursue his education at Gorakhpur University, obtaining an M.A. in Political Science, Ancient & Modern History, and LL.B. In the present time, he is doing the duty of a Member of Parliament, representing the Domariyaganj Lok Sabha seat in the lower house. Moreover, he also serves as Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Energy and is a former CM of UP.
