Jyotiraditya Scindiya. young Indian politician, Member of the current Lok Sabha, and Union Minister of the Government of India was born in 1971 in Mumbai to the family of Madhavrao Scindiya the king of the princely state of Gwalior. Jyotiradiya finished his early schooling in Mumbai before moving to Doon School for higher education. He was moved to the UK to complete his graduation from Harvard University. Later he moved to the US and completed his Master of Business Administration Degree from Sanford School of Business Studies. He came back to India after completing his education and the sudden death of his father led him to the profession of politics.

His father Madhavrao Scindhiya died in plain crash in Utter Pradesh in in 2001. Jyotiraditya’s father was known as a strong and honest politician of the Indian National Congress party. He was a member of parliament from the Guna constituency of Madhya Pradesh. Young Jyotiraditya joined the Indian National Congress party contested in the bi-poll election and joined PM Manmohan Singh-led Congress government. He was reelected from the same constituency in the 2004 general election. Scindia left the Indian National Congress party in 2020 after he lost the general election in 2019 from Guna Constituency.
