Mansukh Mandaviya is one of the most famous and experienced Indian politicians who serves as a member of Rajya Sabha being a BJP candidate. Mainly, he has been working in the post of Minister of Labour and Employment and Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports since 2024. He was born on June 1, 1972, in a small village named Hanol in Palitana Taluka in the Bhavnagar district of Gujarat State.
Mandaviya belongs to a middle-class farmer family and is the youngest of four brothers. For education, he completed his academic studies at the Government Primary School, Hanol, and his high school studies in Songadh Gurukul. For higher study, he studied at Gujarat Agriculture University and Songadh Gurukul before finishing a certificate program in Veterinary Livestock Inspector. Later, Mansukh graduated from Bhavnagar University with an MA in political science. Mandavia graduated from the Gujarat Institute of Development Research in 2021 with a Ph.D. in political science.

His political journey started in the year 2002 when he was elected as the youngest MLA in Gujarat and also started working in many political roles with the BJP. To build a good relationship with the BJP party, Mansukh led BJP’s High-tech & Mega Membership Drive Campaign in Gujarat in 2014. Moreover, he was also elected as a Member of Parliament (MP) in the Rajya Sabha from Gujarat when he was 38 years old.
Mandaviya was re-elected as an MP in the Rajya Sabha in 2018 and he was appointed as the Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Shipping, and Chemicals and Fertilizers in 2016. He assumed the position of Minister of State in the Indian government’s Council of Ministers in May 2019, with responsibility for ports, shipping, waterways, chemicals, and fertilizers. Motivated by his dedication to serving the public, he carried out programs to lower healthcare expenses and provide accessibility to necessary medications.
