Nitin Gadkari, Politician and current member of Lok Sabha parliament was born to the family of Jairam Gadkari in Nagpur city of Maharashtra state in 1957. He completed his early schooling and higher education in Nagpur. In higher education, he completed graduation, M. Com & LLB from Nagpur University. Nitin Jairam Gadkari was a member of the Youth wing Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) of Bhartiya Janta Party in his college days.
He joined the BJP Party after completing his education and served as the Public Work Department Minister in the Maharashtra government from 1995 to 1999. In his tenure, he completed the Mumbai-Pune Expressway as the milestone of his tenure. He contested the general election from Nagpur in 2014 and joined the team of PM Narendra Modi Government as the minister of Surface Transport and Highways.
