N.K Premachandran is a very prominent senior Indian politician and is currently serving as a member of Lok Sabha, representing the Kollam Lok Sabha constituency. This is the only person who is responsible for the Revolutionary Socialist Party. He was born on 25 May 1960 in Navaikulam (Kollam-Trivandrum border of Trivandrum district). In the year of 1996, he started his political journey when he won his first electoral contest in general Lok Sabha from the Kollam constituency. That’s the time he was a very supportive candidate of the Revolutionary Socialist Party at the age of 36 years. He oversaw irrigation, groundwater development, water supply, and sanitation as the previous Minister for Water Resources in the Keralan government.

In the year 2000, he was appointed to the Rajya Sabha and won unimposingly the Kerala Rajya Sabha seat. Despite that, he has also appeared in the state assembly election and joined the state government as the Cabinet Minister of the state.
