Sachin Pilot,  also known as Captain Sachin Rajesh Pilot, Indian politician and current member of the Rajasthan state assembly as the candidate of the Indian National Congress party. Sachin was born into the family of former Congress leader Rajesh Pilot in Saharanpur UP. His family belongs to Gautam Buddha Nagar District of Uttar Pradesh. Later his father was settled in Rajasthan and became a member of Lok Sabha from Ajmer and Dausa constituencies of Rajasthan state. Sachin finished her early education and graduated in New Delhi and  Noida. He moved to the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA to complete his MBA.

He came back to India and worked with BBC and General Motors. After the death of his father, Sachin Pilot was introduced by the Congress party as the candidate from the Dausa constituency. Young Sachin won the election and joined the parliament with Manmohan Singh-led UPA government. He was the youngest Member of Parliament at the age of 26 years. Later he contested from the Ajmer constituency in the general election in 2009. He served as the minister of Corporate Affairs in Rajasthan Govt.

Young Politician Sachin Pilot lives in Jaipur city of Rajasthan. He was married to Sara Abdullah, daughter of Farooq Abdullah, politician & former chief minister of Jammu & Kashmir. He has two sons with an unsuccessful marriage to Sara Abdullah. They were separated in 2023. He contested in State Assembly election in 2018 after facing defeat by the BJP leader from the Ajmer constituency in the general election of 2014.

After winning the state assembly election in 2018 he was the favorite face for the chief minister of the state but Congress high command swore Ashok Gehlot as the Chief Minister and Sachin was appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state.

Congress party asked for his resignation as the deputy CM after his comment.
