Shri Shivpal Yadav is a great educationist who turned into an Indian Politician from Uttar Pradesh, India. He was born on 16 February 1955 in the Saifai village, Etawah district. Shivpal is the younger brother of Samajwadi Party leader late Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav. Generally, he is a Member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing the Jaswantnagar seat in Etawah district, from 1996 till now. He was born into a very middle-class to Sughar Singh Yadav and Murti Devi. Shivpal Singh Yadav received his BA (1976) and BPEd (1977) degrees from the University of Lucknow’s Lucknow Christian College and K.K.P.G. College, Etawah, Kanpur University. On 29 January 2023, he was appointed National General Secretary of the Samajwadi Party.

In 2019, he lost Firozabad’s 17th Lok Sabha election. At present, Shivpal is serving the duty of a Member of the Legislative (MLA) for Jaswantnagar, Uttar Pradesh.
