Shrikant Shinde born on 4th February 1987 is an Indian Politician serving as a Member of Parliament for the Lok Sabha and member of the Shiv Sena Political Party. He is also the Son of Eknath Shinde the Present Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. In the recently concluded Lok Sabha Election, he won by a margin of 2,09,144 votes from Kalyan. He presently represents the Kalyan Constituency of Maharashtra and is a member of the Shiv Sena Political Party. Apart from being a Politician Shrikanth Eknath Shinde is a qualified medical practitioner with an MBBS and an MS in Orthopedics. He completed his MS from Dr DY Patil Medical College Navi Mumbai.

Let us tell you that ‘Shrikant Shinde’ started his Political Journey in the year 2014 when he won the Kalyan Parliamentary seat by defeating Anand Paranjpe of NCP by a margin of over 2.50 lakh votes. He was the youngest Maratha Member of Parliament ever at the age of 26. During his political career, he has held many positions including (Member of the Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare Committee on Violation of Protocol Norms and Contemptuous Behavior of Government Officers, Standing Committee on Defense, and Member of Consultative Committee Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs).

His Role as a successful politician led to much development work in his constituency where he sanctioned 110 crore for roads in the division of Dombivli MIDC roads. Providing Solutions for ending traffic problems on Kalyan Shilphata Road to de-congest the traffic on Shilphata Road Airoli Katai freeway which will cut travel time from Airoli to Katai in hardly 10 minutes to reach the Location. Dr. Shrikant Shinde also presented the Waterway Transport Project (Kalyan-Thane-Mumbai ) which will de-congest traffic. The Central Government has already sanctioned Rs 453 crore for the first phase. His other Notable work includes the Airoli- Katai Free Way, the Water Transport Project, and the Renovation of Hospitals and other Services.

The Foundation donated one ambulance in Kolhapur to the Sambhaji Raje Foundation during the COVID-19 pandemic in India. He married Vrushali Shinde in the year 2016 and they have 1 son.
